This Oval Proofing Basket is handmade from genuine, natural rattan cane and comes with removable linen lining. Rattan proofing baskets or bannetons are popular in artisan baking, to give a rustic and traditional feel. The baskets are used to support and shape the dough while it rises during the fermentation process. Made from coiled rattan it gives a spiral pattern on the dough which is a popular characteristic of handmade loaves.

- All machinery and electrical items are non-returnable and are subject to Manufacturer or Suppliers warranty and terms and conditions. As far as warranty claims go, we will do everything we can to ensure your warranty is processed smoothly. We have a great relationship with all our Suppliers and will work directly with them to ensure any warranty issues are rectified in a timely manner.
